NeuroX Password is intentionally independent from NeuroXbot accounts and recovery services. Your encrypted .nxb file and your unlock information remain under your control.

Portable & local. Your records live in the encrypted .nxb vault you control.

No NeuroXbot recovery. NeuroXbot does not hold a master key or password-reset key for your vault.

Keep backups. If every copy of your .nxb file is lost or damaged, your records cannot be recreated.

Keep the recovery phrase safe. Store it outside the device. It is used to establish the vault on a new installation or after local application data is cleared.

Device security still matters. Malware or an attacker controlling an unlocked device may capture information while you use it.

These six recovery words establish the local secret for this vault. NeuroXbot does not receive them. You normally use only your main password on this installation.

Minimum 10 characters with at least one uppercase and one lowercase letter. Longer passwords are strongly recommended.

Automatic lock

Lock the vault after inactivity and forget decrypted session data.

Vault file

When direct file access is available, every change overwrites the selected .nxb file and NeuroX reads it back from disk and verifies its SHA-256 hash before reporting success. Other browsers fall back to verified snapshot downloads.

Recovery phrase

The six recovery words are stored only inside the encrypted vault so they can be recovered after unlock. Reveal them only when you need them and keep them private.

Local installation secret

This device stores derived recovery material, not the six recovery words. Clearing browser/application data removes it; your recovery words can establish it again.
